Tamara, our Licensed Lead Esthetician, is a graduate of the Esthetics program at Ogle School of Hair, Skin and Nails. She was born in Corpus Christi but identifies as a proud Houstonian who has spent most of her life living here in Houston. Her passion for skincare and the science behind it began with an interest in makeup and how its use can affect a person both emotionally and physically. Combine that with an unending desire to help others, led her to pursue a career as an Esthetician. She appreciates the diversity of each of her guest's skincare needs and loves helping develop a unique skincare program to keep them looking and feeling their absolute best. As Lead Esthetician she is committed to helping her fellow estheticians grow and shine, enhancing their best qualities. She is passionate about everything she does in both her professional and personal life. She is eager to learn more each day. When not at the spa, Tamara enjoys spending time with her husband Brian, and three children Justis, David, and Keira.

Tina is our Licensed Lead Massage Therapist. Most recently from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, she is happy to call Houston her home since 2018. She is skilled in several modalities of massage which include hands on techniques that relieve tension, reduce stress, relieve anxiety, improve sleep, reduce pain, and promote relaxation throughout the entire body. She is a 2007 graduate of the Aveda Institute in Lafayette, Louisiana where she studied Esthiology and also a 2016 graduate of Medical Training College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where she studied Massage Therapy. She has over 10 years experience in the Spa industry and is excited to focus on Massage at Sanctuary Spa. As a mother of four adult children, her life has been centered around the nurture, care, and healing of others. She takes this nurturing into every session to care for and heal her guests as well as to uplift the massage team.

Emilie has been a massage therapist for 15 years. A recent transplant to Houston, Emilie has spent most of her career in the spa industry and is excited to be a part of the team at Sanctuary Spa! Emilie loves helping guests relax and recharge, decrease muscle tension and improve range of motion. A Swedish/Deep Tissue fusion massage is her specialty, both effective at relieving muscle pain but also focused on relaxation. Emilie is also trained in Manual Lymphatic Drainage.

Jill is our Licensed Senior Esthetician that graduated from Ogle Hair, Skin and Nails at the top of her class. She is very passionate about skincare which came from dealing with her own skin issues. This experience gives her great insight and empathy for those struggling with their own skincare concerns. She loves to continually research new products, ingredients and cutting-edge modalities and how they work on the human body to heal and correct the skin. She strives to help her guests treat, relax, and heal by incorporating self-care into their busy schedules. Her goal is for her guests to leave happy and refreshed with a better knowledge of how to care for their skin. She develops a professional relationship with her guests on their skincare journey. A true role model for the rest of the team, she shares all of her knowledge and works to uplift the team and program. When not working or researching she loves to travel, attend live concerts and spend time with close friends and family.

As a well motivated Esthetician and Massage Therapist, she feels blessed to have the pleasure of making people feel beautiful, confident and relaxed from the inside out. She is a native of the beautiful island of Trinidad and Tobago. She moved to Texas to further her education and career in this amazing industry we call Beauty Therapy that she is truly so passionate about. She was eager to complete her International CIDESCO course with the premier Institute of Cosmetology, Esthetics and Massage. She is proud to be a CIDESCO diplomat and share her knowledge, skills and techniques with the people who appreciate what Estheticians do. She believes in making her guests feel like a brand new person when they walk out of Sanctuary Spa. As our Senior Esthetician, Kim's passion for skin, beauty and body care combine with her dedication, loyalty and kindness to help uplift the team.

Aime is a proud Houston native. She's always been interested in skincare since struggling with her own skin issues. She pursued a career in esthetics with an eye to being a part of the Sanctuary team early on! She worked at Sanctuary Spa as a Spa Attendant while in school, so she could be around our talented team, while creating valuable relationships and mentorships. She graduated top of her class in her esthetics program. She went out into the world to gain experience as an esthetician. She did remarkably well, learning a tremendous amount more about skincare issues and treating her guests. She rose to the Lead Esthetician position at her previous spa.Coming back home to Sanctuary Spa as an esthetician has created a full circle moment for her and she truly feels like she has finally come back home. Although she initially pursued this field for her love of skincare, she has grown even more passionate about helping others. She loves to work with her guests to create custom treatment experiences and at home self-care as they go together on the journey to their healthiest skin.In her free time, she enjoys running and staying active. She spends most of her time with friends, family and her beagle, Parker.

Claudine was born and raised on the Ivorian soil in West Africa. She moved to Virginia and then in 2009 became licensed as a Massage Therapist. Her passion for wellbeing and devotion to giving the best of her effort, time, experience and knowledge are felt during each and every bodywork received from Claudine. She loves the craft of massage therapy. Making everyone feel the best they can be to help balance mind, soul, and Body is more than just a job for her. She looks forward to sharing the gift of healing through touch with you. 

Gabby is passionate about wellness and promoting healthy living. Skilled in several modalities, with a keen interest for stretch therapy. Her compassionate approach focuses on holistic healing, allowing her to tailor treatments that support overall well-being. She loves creating a personalized experience for each guest, building a therapeutic relationship. Sharpening her skills is an ongoing task to assure she’s giving the best to her guests. Outside of massage, she is a proud mother and enjoys working out and practicing yoga.

Janiesa is a vibrant and talented esthetician of 7 years experience. She has a deep passion for skincare and beauty and brings a unique blend of creativity and precision to every treatment she provides. Whether it's a rejuvenating facial, expert waxing, or crafting a personalized skincare regimen, Janiesa is dedicated to helping guests look and feel their best. She has a warm and friendly demeanor that focuses on making every visit a delightful experience. Always eager to learn and innovate, Janiesa stays ahead of the curve with the latest beauty trends and techniques. When she's not in the spa, you can find Janiesa cooking or learning a new language.

Jinky is a licensed Cosmetologist/ Esthetician with 16 years professional experience. She invests 100 percent of her talent, creativity, skills and passion into each and every guest. For Jinky, that starts with a consultation. Listening intently to what her guests hope to achieve in skincare. Then making recommendations based on their lifestyle and skin conditions. She makes sure her guests have the tools, products, knowledge and techniques for a home care regimen. "What I love most about beauty industry is helping my guests to look and feel great about themselves," Jinky always says. "When you look good, you feel good. There's no better advertising than that!

Karen was born and raised in San Jose, Costa Rica. She moved to the United States over 25 years ago. Karen was inspired into esthetics and skin care from an early age. After raising three sons and having a successful career in sales and marketing, Karen decided it was time to pursue her dream. She went back to school and graduated from The Institute of Cosmetology, Esthetics and Massage, in Houston. Karen is fluent in Spanish and Hebrew. She loves to share what she is constantly learning and enjoys guiding her guests about their home-care regimes, skincare products and new treatments. She enjoys the diversity of cultures and nationalities in Houston. During her free time she enjoys traveling with her husband to visit their sons and family who live far away.

Kristen is a Nationally Certified Licensed Massage Therapist from Long Island, New York. Her strong passion for massage therapy keeps her continuously educating herself in not only massage, hydrotherapy but truly everything spa and self-care. After a few years in South Carolina, a son, and twin girls, Kristen is happy to return to Houston and find her place at Sanctuary once again. For Kristen, it is truly a pleasure to see that each guest leaves feeling happy, healthy and appreciated!

Lauren, a Native Houstonian, has over 15 years experience in massage therapy. She began her training in the highly rated William Institute in 2004. She is trained in Manual Lymph Drainage, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Prenatal, Reflexology, Myofascial, and Aromatherapy. Growing up with parents that traveled internationally for business sparked Lauren's interest in cultures and customs around the world. In 2010, she completed a Double Degree in Sociology and Anthropology. Along the way she has participated in urban anthropology conferences to solve urban issues such as safe play space for children and child obesity and participated in archeological digs on southern plantations to help give more accurate and updated information for future school textbooks. Lauren enjoys working with her hands, whether it be massaging her guests, making silver and natural stone jewelry, or crocheting gifts for family, friends, or for donation. She has two adorable children who she loves spending time with and nurturing.

Mariah graduated from the Texas Center of Massage Therapy in 2016. However, her inspiration to become a massage therapist began way back when she was massaging her great grandmother at only 7 years old. Mariah would massage her legs, while she sat in her wheel chair sharing her stories. These memorable moments fueled her interest to become a massage therapy professionally. She is certified and trained in sports massage, hot stones, reflexology and body treatments. She enjoys traveling. She also does her fair share of working out, mostly to provide balance as she is a foodie.

Sam has been a sports and fitness enthusiast for years. His passion for health and wellness led him to a career in Massage Therapy after personally experiencing the benefits of massage. Sam graduated from Avalon School of Massage in 2015 and his passion for the field has grown over the last six years while working in various areas of the industry. Sam specializes in Deep Tissue, Swedish and Sports Massage and he has a special interest in the health benefits of stretching. He is eager to learn all types of Massage Therapy and expand his knowledge and expertise in all modalities. Sam’s goal is to provide a healing and transformative experience for each of his guests and he is excited to be part of the team at Sanctuary Spa. When not providing exceptional massages, Sam enjoys boxing, yoga, bike riding, swimming and traveling.

Savannah is a talented licensed esthetician. She has a gentle touch and truly embodies our mind, body and soul approach. She specializes in relaxing, therapeutic facials. A graduate of the Aveda Institute, she's always learning so she can bring the best education to the treatment room to provide fantastic facials for her guests.

Toya is a 2017 graduate of Parkland College in Champaign, Illinois, with a license in

massage therapy. She also earned an Associates Degree in Applied Science and

Fine Arts in 2006 from Parkland. Her passion for healing and holistic wellness has

led her to focus on therapeutic massage. While currently certified in Swedish

massage, cupping and gua sha, Toya is always learning and continues to improve all of her skillsets to provide the best massage services for her guests.

When entering the spa, Jaslie’s is there to warmly greet you. Her friendly and compassionate demeanor will help you feel welcome and at peace. Jaslie’s passion is to help guests receive tranquil services. While Jaslie is new to the spa industry, she is a quick study and enjoys learning so many aspects of spa life every day. Jaslie is at school at the University of Houston, majoring in Biology to have a career in the medical field. In her free time, Jaslie loves spending time with her niece, shopping, watching Netflix, and listening to music.

Karla's main passion is lending a helpful hand to anyone who needs it and a gentle smile to all she encounters! Her kindness and attention to details have served her well as a Guest Care Associate at Sanctuary Spa. Karla also helps us with inventory and making sure everything is tracked.  She aspires to become a licensed esthetician, as well as pursue a lifestyle in natural herbal medicine. Karla considers herself a true Houston Native that appreciates roaming around Texas with her family & her boyfriend. She highly enjoys her “quiet-time” hobbies (ex. reading books, painting, journaling, etc.), game days watching the Houston Astros play and is a huge UFC fan.

Marisol enjoys being the first and last person to interact with guests at the spa! She loves to witness how guests walk out feeling refreshed and relaxed! These interactions allow her to translate the feelings into social media content. As a lover of all things self- care, Marisol enjoys learning about all that Sanctuary Spa has to offer. In her free time, Marisol enjoys staying active, spending time with friends and family and catching up on her favorite shows!
